Fine, Alison. I’ll talk about our day in Green Hills. We went to Green Hills to see Bend it Like Beckham (third time for me), and we made pretty good time getting there, and so we stopped and had some ice cream from Maggie Moo’s. Muy bien. Then we got to the theater, bought our tickets, and bought the biggest Mr. Pibb I had ever seen in my life. We went down the escalator and into the theater, then the movie started. Alison kept freaking out over the amazing gorgeousness that is Jonathan Rhys-Meyers. She also kept getting angry that Jess and Joe (JRM) weren’t making out. “I wanted him to kiss her!” “Just make out already!” But I reassured her. “Don’t worry, they get a little make out session at the end.” Then Alison proceeded into gasping over how great JRM’s eyes and the shape of his face were, etc, etc. Good gracious. I bet Alison is still drooling at him over at her house. Well, I’ll just have to invite her over to watch Legally Blonde, then we can drool over Luke Wilson.

Word to martinis
Okay, so I’ve never had a martini in my life, being 15 and way underage, but they just look cool, and and I liked the picture, so here we are, a martini layout. Comments are appreciated. Earlier this evening I received a phone call from someone doing a survey about TV. He asked me if I was in the 18-65 age bracket, and I told him I wasn’t, and then he hung up! Rude much? So just because I’m not between the ages of 18-65, I’m not allowed to have an opinion about television? C’mon. And what, do people just stop watching TV when they turn 66? That’s just silly.

Word to early morning movies
So I’ve been getting up early in the morning and walking, as previously mentioned. After my walk I usually come home and watch some TV while I cool off. And I’ve discovered that HBO is playing some good, or at least entertaining movies in the mornings. This morning they played Music from Another Room, which was good. Nothing spectacular, but it was the first movie I saw with Jude Law in it, and I’m now convinced he’s the most adorable thing to walk this earth. So cute. So cute.
I’ve been working on a bunch of stuff lately. Expect a new layout here pretty soon. And I added some 1024×768 sized wallpapers to Under My Thumb, so I hope those of you who requested them are happy!

Word to summer
So, it’s really summer now. I got up this morning at 6:45 and jogged around my neighborhood. Good stuff. I’m going to try to keep it up all summer, and then maybe I can fit into some size 10 pants! Watch out world, Emma’s gettin’ skinny.
I redesigned Under My Thumb today. I was originally going to use those gorgeous Charlize Theron pictures to make a new layout for cloudyday.org, but since my sister suggested that I make a new layout, I’m going to put it off for a while just to irritate her. But go check it out and let me know what you think in the comments.
Well, I have a frozen pizza and some movie rentals (Maid in Manhattan, Risky Business) calling my name, so that’s all I have to post!

Word to sneak previews
I got to go see a sneak preview of The Italian Job last night. I had been dying to see it, and I wasn’t sure if I could make it to next Friday, so I jumped at the chance to go see it early. And man, it was good. I know you probably all think it’s an Ocean’s 11 rip-off, and while there were some similarities, it was a nice little heist movie in it’s own right. Not to mention that I’m just a sucker for any movie with Seth Green in it. And dude! I totally want a Mini Cooper now. If only I had some money. There were only two things about the movie that disappointed me: Donald Sutherland wasn’t in it enough, and Mark Wahlberg didn’t take his shirt off. Yeah, I know what you’re thinking, but he told Conan that he had a third nipple, and I was kind of hoping I’d get to see it in the movie. Oh well.

Word to the Class of 2003
It’s all over. Well, over for the Class of 2003. I cried at the graduation ceremony this morning when my friend Jenny went up to get her diploma. But at the same time I’m excited because IT’S SUMMER! So much freedom. So much freetime. Goodness, I’m not sure what to do or where to start.
But on the other hand, I do have lots and lots of AP (advanced placement) homework to do this summer. I’m taking English III AP, US History AP, and Chemistry AP. Whew. I feel like I’m going to have to spend my entire summer doing AP work. Oh well. At least it’s college credit! Yihoo!
I’ve been making lots of new wallpapers, so be sure to check that out. And I should be redesigning some sites soon… watch out! Crazyness ensues.

Word to finals
Grrrrr. Finals. Grrrrr. Why? Grrrrr. Not to mention that my Aunt Florence stopped by just in time for exams. Ain’t life grand? Well, I’m trying to be in a better mood, but I don’t really have time to think about it with all the studying and baking!
Andrew chose Jen! Andrew chose Jen! I can’t tell you how happy I am about that. This has been my favorite season of The Bachelor because they actually picked the person I wanted them to, which never happens. I’m so glad he didn’t pick Kirsten. “Ohmygosh! Like, I’m so, like totally ambitious about stuff….” – Kirsten. “Well, what are your ambitions?” – Andrew’s sister. “Well, I’m not really sure… y’know… I’m ambitious… about stuff…” – Kirsten. Okay, so those weren’t direct quotes, but they might as well be. Hehehe. This is the first time on The Bachelor\Bachelorette that the family actually spoke up about either girl\guy. Thank goodness. For a minute there, I really thought he was going to keep Kirsten. Ick. Her voice is so nasal, I think I would smack her if I ever had the misfortune of being in a conversation with her. Dear, you’re actually supposed to speak through your mouth, not your nose.
Okay, I think I’ve been poisoned by reality TV. Hehehe. Can’t wait for Mr. Personality tonight. Pick Will! Pick Will! Well, I’m off to study for exams. Wish me luck!

Word to finales
Dawson’s Creek finale. I cried. Oh yes, I cried. The only part of the episode that I didn’t like was the whole Doug\Jack thing. I mean, Doug’s got to be 10 years older than him, which is just creepy. Wasn’t he already the sheriff back in season 2? That makes him a lot older. But I’m still very giddy that Joey ended up with Pacey. I was a little scared that they were going to put her with Dawson because they kept talking about how they were soulmates. WHAT-ever.
And I just finished watching the Friends finale. I thought it was great. I think my favorite part of the episode was when Mike said, “Oh by the way, I’m awesome,” when they started playing ping-pong. And Monica’s humidity hair! She reminded me of my hair. Eh. Touchy subject.
So I finally checked out the list of People’s 50 Most Beautiful People, and I thought there were some interesting, out of left-field choices. Like Mark Feuerstein. And Andrew Dan Jumbo… who I think they’re just trying to make into another Ty Pennington, which he’s not. I feel that the only reason Chilli from TLC made the list is because Usher did. And Ryan Seacrest… WHAT-ever. We should just take out all those people and substitute them with the cast from Without A Trace. Sorry, but I just have this strange affinity for Anthony LaPaglia. He’s got this very attractive intelligence about him… if only I was a 40-year-old woman and he wasn’t married. Sigh.

Word to stuff.
I redesigned Crush yesterday. I kind of like it. I’m probably going to change the Mandy image in about a week. Or maybe I’ll switch it to rotating images. That would be cool. Anyhoo, go check it out and let me know what you think!
I have been in a funk, yet again. I’m trying out for tenors in the drumline. If you don’t know what they are, it’s five different little drums, and they’re pretty damn heavy. Anyhoo, I’ve been working my butt off practicing for tenors, and I’ve been off with everything else… I’m so behind on visiting my “dailies.” It’s been so long since I visited all those sites I love. Christie gave birth, and I didn’t even know it until yesterday! Why can’t these “funks” just go away?

Word to posting!
Hey! I finally posted! I was without internet access at the beginning of the week due to the HUGE STORM that went through Tennessee. It was pretty cool. Well, not cool in the sense that people died and stuff like that, but it was pretty cool to watch. I’m a storm fanatic. I admit it.
I finally saw X-Men 2 today. My friend Alyssa and I originally were going to see Holes, but it was sold out. I’m still a little disappointed. Not that seeing X-Men was bad. It was good. But I read the book Holes and was all pumped up about the movie. Oh well. I’ll just try to go see it another time.
Without A Trace has been WOW for the last two weeks. I’m very much looking forward to the season finale on Thursday. Does anyone know if it’s been picked up for a second season or not? It’d be a shame if it wasn’t. But anyways, I totally saw the whole Sam\Jack thing coming. Well sure, lots of people noticed the subtext between them and stuff… but I kept thinking they had already been together… and it turns out I was right! I was right!
Dawson’s Creek this week… ermm…. no! At first I thought it was good, but then I thought about it more… and it sucked. Joey finally going to France… lame. Bringing back Kristy Livingstone with a different actress… lame (not to mention completely irrelevant). Dawson and Pacey still fighting… lame. Lame! Lame! Lame! I just can’t wait until next week when Jen finally dies. Thank goodness. She looks like a duck.
The Bachelor… I’m so glad Andrew sent Tina home. I just hope he’s not a complete idiot and proposes to Kirsten next week. Pick Jen! Pick Jen! Wow, I’m just TV babble gal today. Hehe.
