Word to chemistry

Okay, this is for all you chemistry geeks out there. C’mon, you know you love chemistry! Anywho, today in my AP Chemistry class we were discussing the periodic trends, shielding, the octet rule, and the like. This guy named Andrew in my class had this funny idea that Pluto, seeing as it’s so far away from the sun, is exposed to less gravitational pull, and it would therefore be easy to be removed from the solar system. Considering that, we realized that losing Pluto would make our solar system fulfill the octect rule. So in theory, the solar sytem is just a giant Cesium molecule if you think about it.

Word to Alias

It’s a new layout! Time to get crazy.

Word to the Bachelor

Thank goodness Bob got a freaking clue and got rid of Lee-Ann. My sister Audra, her friend Abby, and I all got up and cheered when Bob gave Meredith the last rose in the rose ceremony. We were jumping up and down. My faith in the Bachelor franchise has been restored. And there was zero Pepsi Vanilla product placement this week. Props to you, ABC.

Word to Mandy Moore

Happy Mandy Moore day. I hope my mom gets home soon so I can go pick up a copy of Coverage.

Word to Sark

Oh, Alias. What a good little show you are. And Sark is hot in formalwear. Sark! Sark! Sark! More Sark please. Hmmmm. I must go now. I’m in the middle of the Pride and Prejudice miniseries, and there’s only two hours left until Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth finally get together. Sigh.

Word to hardwood floors

I’ve been evicted! Ahhhhh. The hardwood floors in my house are getting finished this week, and my family had to move out of the house! It’s craziness. But I did manage to review a few movies and make a few new wallpapers before I busted out of the house.

More on Howie Day… thanks to Kel, I will now be the new owner of the Howie Day fanlisting. Coming to an internet address near you! But more on his album… my favorite new song is “End of Our Days.” I love the little bonus DVD that comes with the Limited Edition. Good stuff. And they filmed some of it in Howie’s house, which is super cool. Well, that’s about it for now.

Word to Howie Day

Who has the new Howie Day CD? Me, silly. Who got it two days early? Me, silly. What store was stupid enough to put 5 copies of it on the shelf on Sunday? Target, silly. Oh, and I am glad they did. It is excellent so far. I might write some kind of in-depth review later, but “excellent” will be my rating for the moment.

Word to The Bachelor, week 2

My goodness. What an episode that was. Episode of what? you may ask. The Bachelor, of course. A good solid episode. I like how they had the “elimination” date. Gives it a bit of variety. Oh, and love how the girl that got eliminated (Lindsay) and some of the girls who were sent home at the episode talked in the limo about how they had this great “connection” with Bob, and they didn’t understand why he did choose them. I just love how this show pedals the word “connection.” It’s in about every other sentance. I can’t wait until I go on The Bachelor. I’m going to attempt to used “conniption” anytime I would say “connection.” Now that’s television.

The Pepsi Vanilla product placement continues on. Kelly Jo went into the fridge to get a drink and left the door open long enough for the camera to get a “money shot” of all the perfectly aligned cans of Pepsi Vanilla and Diet Pepsi Vanilla. And they call this reality TV? On another note, I’ve changed my front-runners for Bob to Estella AND Meredith- reason being Meredith wanting to go to culinary school (awesome!).
